Assist Lebanon

More than 1,000,000 Lebanese are now without homes. Global Operations and Development / Giving Children Hope, which is headquartered in Buena Park, is working in partnership with the United Nations World Food Program, the Free Evangelical Association Lebanon, Mercy Corps, and the Hariri Foundation to assist hundreds of displaced families in southern Lebanon.

Many of them have lost everything. Please join with us during these perilous times as we reach out to those in need by sending medical supplies, medical equipment, hygiene products, and over-the-counter medicines.

We are immediately shipping 2 fifty-three-foot truckloads of medical and humanitarian supplies to JFK Airport, where they will be combined with additional cargo and then airlifted to Lebanon. Our contribution includes more than 60 tons of supplies valued at approximately $1,000,000. We are also planning to ship 4 forty-foot ocean containers to Lebanon. Because hospitals and clinics in south Lebanon have been destroyed, these items have been urgently requested.

Total funding that is needed to ship all of these supplies to Lebanon amounts to just $50,000. All money received beyond what is needed will be sent to the local Lebanese people in need.
